Sorry to everyone who has missed out, there are no more tickets for our New Year’s Eve 2025 ceilidh, it’s completely SOLD OUT!
Edit: We've received messages asking if we could 'just squeeze one or two more in'.
Our Hallowe'en Ceilidh at New Mills Town Hall raised a tremendous total of £982.06.
This has been equally divided between The Seashell Trust and The Christie: £491.03 each.
Thanks to everyone who took part and supported the event.....and put 31st October 2026 in your diaries!
Our New Year's Eve Ceilidh is approaching, and tickets are going well - there's no better way to welcome in the New Year than having a leap around to a fun and lively ceilidh!
If you're intending coming and haven't bought your tickets yet it's best you get your skates on.
Due to the size of the venue, ticket numbers are limited, and when they're gone they really are gone!
Order your tickets from:
https://wegottickets.com/event/679994
Please bring a generous contribution (enough for the size of your party) for the food share, sweet or savoury, up to you - it always works out well in the end!
You bring the food, we provide the cutlery & crockery.
Please don't bring your own drinks, there's a decent bar - and we really like to support the Morley Green Club.
So get your dancing shoes on - and let's dance in the New Year!
Celebrate Hogmanay with a fun and bouncy ceilidh – and there’s no better way to mark the occasion!
Time to roll out the big guns once again: HopGoblin and Ye Olde Vic Band come together as HopGoblin Big Band to celebrate the turning of the year on, er, New Year’s Eve (obv), at the Morley Green Club, Mobberley Road, Wilmslow, SK9 5NT.
As in previous years, please bring a food contribution for the cold buffet food share, sweet or savoury, up to you – it’s always worked well in the past.
You provide the food, we provide cutlery & crockery.
Tickets from: https://wegottickets.com/event/679994
Please don’t bring your own drinks, Morley Green Club is an independent club that we really like to support - it has an excellent bar.
Ticket numbers are strictly limited, dictated by space and safety concerns.
What they said:
Join us at the Carlton Club in Whalley Range for a Sunday night of celebration and dancing to commemorate 100 Years of Woodcraft Folk. The fabulous Ceilidh band, Hopgoblin will be providing the live music and the amazing Tibetan Kitchen are providing the food. There will be a raffle supported by the Coop, additional funds raised from the raffle and ticket sales will help support the activities and ongoing costs of Manchester district groups as well as Camp 100.
What we said:
We're more than a bit delighted to have been asked to help celebrate 100 years of the very fine Woodcraft Folk with a ceilidh - surely there's no better way to celebrate. Check out their 'About' page, it's a seriously impressive organisation.
